Dear Faithful,
This Sunday, December 17, 2023, at St. JPII-Immaculate Conception Church (IC) in Sleepy Hollow, NY, a Sung Mass according to the Traditional Latin Rite will be celebrated at 4 PM. It is the Third Sunday of Advent aka Gaudete. A convivium will follow Mass.
Please Note re Fourth Sunday of Advent (Dec. 24) & Christmas (Monday, Dec. 25): both Masses will be celebrated at 2 PM. The Sunday Mass, a Low Mass, will be the Vigil Mass of Christmas, which is not a Christmas Mass; the Mass on Monday (Christmas) will be a Sung Mass.
FIRST COMMUNION: Parents, If there are any children whose age makes them eligible for First Communion, please see me. Eligibility is normally based on the conventional age of reason, namely, seven. A brief instruction by me of the candidates and First Confession would be required.

PARKING: You can park in Patriot Park but only on the right side of the street. NO parking on the grass. Please drive carefully, as there are often families and children walking about. Besides the streets around the church, there is also plenty of parking across the street in the school parking lot.
